AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 771 OF SAID CITY, AS
AMENDED, SAID ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN
WITHIN THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, SAID
AMENDMENT PLACING CERTAIN TERRITORY IN THE
DISTRICTS AS DELINEATED BELOW.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 771 of the City of Sanford, Florida,
passed and adopted February 26, 1962, as amended, said ordinance being
the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Sanford, Florida,
regulating and restricting the location and use of buildings, structures,
land and water, for trade, industry, residence or other purposes, be and
the same is hereby amended as follows:
(1) A portion of that property lying between Fourth Street
and Seventh Street and between San Marcos and Mellon-
ville Avenue, and more particularly described as follows,
to-wit:
Lot 5, less the North 12.42 feet; all of Lots 6, 7 and 8;
the South 31.03 feet of Lot 16; all of Lots 17, 18 and 19;
Lot 20 less the South 20.68 feet; all in Block 3, Fairview,
according to plat recorded in Plat Book 4, page 71, Public
Rea) rds of Seminole County, Florida;
be and the same is hereby placed in R-3 (Multiple Family
Dwelling) District.
(2) That certain property described as follows, to-wit:
From a point 18. 91 chains West and 8.23 chains North of the
SE corner of the NE 1/4 of the S E 1/4 of Section 11, Town-
ship 20 South, Range 30 East, run North 64° 30' West 129.1
feet, North 25° 30' East 600. 66 feet for point of beginning;
thence run North 64° 30' West 530.9 feet; North 25° 30' East
782.38 feet; South 64° 30' East 530.9 feet; South 25° 30' West
782.38 to point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby placed in M-1 (Light Industrial)
District.
(3) That certain property described as follows, to-wit:
Begin at a point 1447.4 feet North 25° 30' East from the inter-
section of the Westerly right of way of State Road 15 and 600
with the South line of the Sanford Grant Line, run North
64° 30' West 910 feet; North 25° 30' East 400 feet; South
64° 30' East 99. 1 feet; North 25° 30' East 721.9 feet; South
64° 30' East 200 feet; South 25° 30' West 59.34 feet to a
point which is 530. 9 feet North 64° 30' West from the
Westerly right of way of U.S. 17-92; South 64° 30' East to
the Westerly right of way of State Road 15 and 600; South
25° 30' West to point of beginning, less part in right of way
of U.S. 17-92; and
From a point on the Westerly right of way of State Road 15
and 600 which is 18.91 chains West and 8.23 chains North of
the SE corner of the NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4, run North 64° 30'
West 129. I feet, North 25° 30' East 1383.36 feet for point
of beginning; thence run North 64° 30' West 530. 9 feet,
Northerly parallel to the East line of Section 11 to the North
line of Section 11, Easterly to the NE Corner of said Section
11, Southerly along East line of said Section 11 to the inter-
section of the East line of Section 11 with the Westerly right
of way line of U.S. 17~92, Southwesterly along the right of
way of U.S. 17-92 to point of beginning, less that part lying
Northeasterly of Onora-Grapeville Road;
be and the same is hereby placed in G-1 (Neighborhood
Commercial) District.
SECTION 2. That ail ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become ~fective immediately
