AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 771 OF SAID CITY, AS
AMENDED, SAID ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN
WITHIN THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, SAID AMEND-
MENT PLACING CERTAIN TERRITORY IN THE DISTRICTS
DELINEATED BELOW.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 771 of the City of Sanford, Florida,
passed and adopted February 26, 1962, as amended, said ordinance being the
Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Sanford, Florida, regulating
and restricting the location and use of buildings, structures, land and water,
for trade, industry, residence or other purposes, be and the same is hereby
amended as follows:
(a) That certain property between Park Avenue and Magnolia
Avenue and between 28th Street and 29th Street, and being more
particularly described as follows, to-wit:
East 165 feet of Lots 6 and 7, Evans Subdivision,
Seminole County, Florida,
be and the same is hereby placed in R-1 (Single Family Dwelling)
District.
(b) That certain property lying South of 25th Street and be-
tween Lake Mary Road and Airport Boulevard, and being more
particularly described as follows, to-wit:
That part of the NW 1/4 of Section 2, Township 20 South,
Range 30 East, lying East of Onora-Grapeville Avenue and
North and West of Lake Mary Road, less the North 666.60
feet; and also less beginning from the Southwest Corner of
said NW 1/4, run North along the West line of said NW 1/4,
a distance of 989.78 feet; thence run East 103.20 feet to the
Easterly right of way line of Onora-Grapeville Avenue and a
point of beginning; thence run South 79° 07' 59" E. 423.79
feet to the Northerly right of way line of Lake Mary Road,
thence run South 42° 58' 33" W. along said Northerly right
of way line, 400 feet to the intersection of the East right of
way line of Onora-Grapeville Avenue; thence run North-
westerly along a curve concave Easterly having a radius of
1869. 86 feet, a central angle of 12° 15' 24" an arc distance
of 400 feet, a chord bearing on N. 33° 19' 27" W. to the
point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby placed in RI-A (Single Family Dwelling)
District.
(c) That certain property between Country Club Road and
25th Street and between Lake Mary Road and Airport Boulevard,
and being more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
The East 10.29 chains of the West 16.79 chains of the
South 12.5 chains of Section 35, Township 20 South,
Range 30 East, Seminole County, Florida, excepting
therefrom the North 210 feet of the East 210 feet thereof;
the North 198 feet of the West 155 feet thereof; less
right of way for West 25th Street Extension,
be and the same is hereby placed in R~3 (Multiple Family Dwelling)
District.
(d) That certain property between Mohawk Drive and E1 Capitan
Drive and DeSoto Drive and Osceola Drive, and being more par-
ticularly described as follows, to-wit:
Lots 12 through 20, and South 1/2 of Lot 21, Block 25;
Lots 1 through 14, Block 26; and Lots 9 and 10, Block
23, Dreamwold, Seminole County, Florida,
be and the same is hereby placed in R1-A (Single Family Dwelling)
District.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.

the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, on the 23rd
day of May, 1972.
