ORDINANCE NO. 1086
CLOSING, VACATING AND ABANDONING PORTIONS OF
STREETS AND ALLEYS IN THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, AS DESCRIBED BELOW:
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That those portions of streets and alleys in the City
of Sanford, Florida, described as follows, to-wit:
All that part or portion of Maple Avenue lying North of
Eighth Street, East of Block 9 of Tier 10, South of the
South Florida Railroad (Seaboard Coast Line Railroad),
and West of Block 9 of Tier 9; all that part or portion
of that certain North-South alleyway dividing Block 9 of
Tier 9; and ail that portion of Seventh Street lying North
of Block 9 of Tier 9 East of the South Florida Railroad
(Seaboard Coast Line Railroad), South of Block 8 of Tier
9; and West of French Avenue (State Road #15-600), all
according to E. R. Trafford's Map of the Town of Sanford
as recorded in Plat Book 1, page 62, Public Records of
Seminole County, Florida,
be and the same are hereby closed, vacated and abandoned as streets and
alleys in the City of Sanford, Florida.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.

of Sanford, Florida, do hereby certify that a true and
correct copy of the foregoing Ordinance No. 1086, PASSED and
ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida,
on the 14th day of August, 1972, was ~OSTED at the front door
of the City Hall in the Cig of Sanford, Florida, on the 15th
day of August, 1972.
