ORDINANCE NO. 862
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, CLOSING, VACATING AND ABAN-
DONING A PORTION OF THE EAST-WEST
ALLEY BETWEEN CHAPMAN AVENUE AND
LOCUST AVENUE SOUTH OF FIRST STREET.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that portion of that certain East-West alley
lying South of Lots 1 through 10, and North of Lots 11 and 22, Block H,
First Street Extension, according to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 3,
pages 76 and 76A, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida, be and
the same is hereby closed, vacated and abandoned as a public alley in the
City of Sanford, Florida, and the City does hereby disclaim for itself
and the public all interest therein.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be, and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.

Sanford, Florida, do hereby certify that a true and correct
copy of the foregoing Ordinance No. 862, PASSED and ADOPTED
by the City Commission of the City of S,nford, Florida, on
the 9th day of August, 1965, was POSTED at the front door
of the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, on the
lOth day of August, 1965.
