WHEREAS, there has been fxled with the Cit~ Clerk of the

and requesting rD be included therein, and
WHEREAS, said petition ~as duly certified to the Tax
Assessor of Seminole County, Florida, pursuant rD Chapter 57-18~5,
Laws of Flori~, Acts of 1957, and the certification o~ the Tax AssessOr
of Seminole County, Florida as to the sufficiency o~ such petition pursuant
to the terms o~ said ~ct received, and
WHEgEKS, the City Commission of the Cit7 of Sanford, Flor~
has deemed it in the best interest of the Cit~ to accept said peti¢on and

be and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of the CiW of
Sanford, Florida pursuant to the terms of Chapter 57-1815, Laws of
Florida, Acts of i957- Ordinance becoming effective,
sECTION 2. That upon this
the residents and property owners in the above-described annexed area
shall be entitled to all of the rights and privileges and immunities as are
residents and property owners of the City
from time to time granted to further provided in Chapter 57-1815,
of Sanford, Florida, and as are
Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957, and shall further be subject to the
responsibilities of residence or ownership as may from time to
time determined by the governing authority of the City of Sanford,
Florida, and the provisions of said Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida,
Acts of 1957.
sECTION 3, That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.

copy of the foregoing Ordinance No. 869, PASSED and ADOPTED
by the City Commission of the City of Sa~ford, Florida, on
the 13th day of September, 1965, was POSTED at the front
door of the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, on
the lSth day of September,
