AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING
WITHIN THE CORPORATE AREA OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA THE AREA DESCRIBED
HEREINAFTEI~, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 57-1815, LAWS OF
FLORIDA, ACTS OF 1957.
WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the
City of Sanford, Florida, two (2) petitions containing the names of
four (4) property owners in the area described hereinafter, requesting
annexation to the corporate area of the City of Sanford, Florida, and
requesting to be included therein, and
WHEREAS, said petitions were duly certified to the Tax
Assessor of Seminole County, Florida, pursuant to Chapter 57-1815,
Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957, and the certification of the Tax Assessor
of Seminole County, Florida as to the sufficiency of such petitions pursuant
to the terms of said Act received, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida
has deemed it in the best interest of the City to accept said petitions and
to annex said area,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that certain area in Seminole County, Florida,
described as follows, to-wit:
Lots 31 through 36 inclusive, and Lots 43 through 48
inclusive, PARK VIEW SECOND ADDITION, according
to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 4, page 5, of the
Public Records of Seminole County, Florida,

be and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of the City of
Sanford, Florida, pursuant to the terms of Chapter 57-1815, Laws of
Florida, Acts of 1957.
SECTION 2. That upon this Ordinance becoming effective,
the residents and property owners in the above-described annexed area
shall be entitled to all of the rights and privileges and immunities as are
from time to time granted to residents and property ow~mrs of the City
of Sanford, Florida, and as are further provided in Chapter 57-1815,
Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957, and shall further be subject to the
responsibilities of residence or ownership as may be from time to
time determined by the governing authority of the City of Sanford,
Florida, and the provisions of said Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida,
Acts of 1957.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.

Sanford, Florida, do hereby certify that a true and correct
copy of the foregoing Ordinance No. 880, PASSED and ADOPTED
by the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, on
the 27th day of December, 1965, was POSTED at the front
door of the City Hall in t}~e City of Sanford~ Florida, on
the 28th day of December, 1965.
