AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA ESTABLISHING NON-RESIDENT USE
FEES FOR TIlE SANITARY LANDFILL OWNED,
OPERATED AND MAINTAINED BY THE CITY OF
SANFO RD, FLORIDA.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That there is herewith established a fee for use
of the sanitary landfill owned, maintained and operated by the City of
Sanford, Florida, by non-residents of said City, as follows:
(a) Deposits equal to or less than a standard pickup
truck, $1.00 per load.
(b) Deposits larger than a standard pickup truck,
$2.00 per load.
(c) As an alternative to the above, a monthly fee of
$4.00 for continuous loads equal to or less than a standard
pickup truck, and a monthly fee of $8.00 for continuous
loads greater than a standard pickup truck.
SECTION 2. Ail fees above provided are payable in advance
at the City Hall of the City of Sanford, and a proper receipt therefor
must be presented to the landfill operator prior to dumping.
SECTION 3. All residents or businesses within the City of
Sanford shall have unrestricted free use of said landfill, provided,
however, that individual residents or businesses, as the case may be,
must first demonstrate proof 05' such residence or location of primary
business office within the City to the landfill operator in advance of use.
SECTION 4. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.

copy of the foregoing Ordinance No. 896, PASSED and ADOPTED
by the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, on
the 26m day of September, 1966, was POSTED at the front
door of the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, on
the 27m day of September, 1966.
