AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 4, THE CODE
OF THE CITY OF SANFORD 1954, AS AMENDED,
SAID CHAPTER DEALING WITH ALCOHOLIC
BEVERAGES, SAID AMENDMENT ADDING
THERETO SECTION 4-3.1 PROHIBITING THE
POSSESSION OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, AS
DEFINED, BY MINORS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 4, The Code of the City of Sanford,
Florida, 1954, as amended, said chapter dealing with alcoholic beverages,
be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto Section 4-3.1,
Prohibiting the possession of alcoholic beverages, as defined, by minors,
as follows:
"Section 4-3.1. Possession of Alcoholic Beverages
by Minors Prohibited.
It shall be unlawful for any person under the
age of twenty-one (21) years to have in his or her
possession alcoholic beverages, as defined in this
Chapter, except persons employed under the provisions
of Florida Statutes, acting within the scope of their em-
ployment."
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.

by the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, on

of the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, on the
27th day of April, 1967.
