AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
VACATING AND ABANDONING A CERTAIN RESERVATION
FOR UTILITIES IN BLOGK l0 OF MAYFAIR LAKE FRONT
ADDITION IN THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, AS
SHOWN BY PLAT THEREOF IN PLAT BOOK 5, PAGE 81,
S~INOLE COUNTY RECORDS
%~I~EAS, the City Commission of the City of Sauf~d, Florida,
is advised that the present East to West sewer located in Block l0 of
Mayfair Lake Front Addition in said City, is actually 18~ feet South of
the 14 foot strip across said block reserved for utilities as shown by
plat of said Mayfair Lake Front Addition recorded in Plat Book 5, page
81, of the Public Records of Seminole County, Florida, and request has
been made to the City Commtsston that the City vacate and abandon such
reservation as platted, together with such portion of the North and
South utility reservation as platted in said block which would then be-
come unnecessary, and the owners of the adjoining property South of said
platted reservation have agreed to grant to the City of Sanford, Florida,
an easement for such utility East and West across said Block l0 in ac-
cordance with the location c~ the East and West sewer now actually
located in said Block 10.
BE IT ~ACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That that certain reservation for utilities 14
feet in width, the center line of which is the South line of Lots l, 2
and 3, of Block l0 of Mayfair Lake Front Addition as recorded in Plat
Book §, page 81, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida, and that
portion of the North and South utility reservation shown on said plat
extending 11~ feet South from the Northwest corner of Lot 5, of said
Block 10, be, and the same are hereby vacated and abandoned.
Section 2. Ail ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith ere hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.

hereby certify that a true and correct copy of the foregoing Ordinance
No. 463, passed and adopted by the City Comm!ss!on of the City of
Sanford, Florida, on the 14th day of November, 1949, was POSTED at
the front door of the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, this
the 21st day of November, 1949.
