Section !. That Ordinance No. i~S of the City of ~anford,
Florida, passed and adopted the 28th day ~f July, 1926, said ordinance
establishing a plumbing code for the City of ~nford, Florida, he, and
the same is hereby amended as follows:
(a) Section 1~3 is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 123. Soil and ~aste ~tacks. Every
building in which plumbing fixtures are installed
shall have at least one four inch (4") soil stack,
tending full size through the roof, except that one
three inch (3") soil stack will be permitted for bath
room or closet in buildings not over tv~o stories in
height. Soil and waste stacks shall be as direct as
possible and free from sharp angles and turns. The re-
quired size of a soil or waste stack shall be independ-
ently determined by the total fixture units of all fix-
t t~res connected to the stack in accordance with the fol-
lowi~ tables:"
(b) Section 138 of said ordinance is hereby amended
to read as foll~s:
"Section 138. Branch and Individual Vents.
~7o branch or individual vents shall be less than l~.",
and shall be of type ~[ copper tubing, but in no case
shall a branch or ~ain vent have a di~aeter of less than
one-half that of the soil or waste pipe served; and in
no case shall the length of a branch vent of a given
diameter exceed the [~axim~,l length per~nitted for the main
vent serving the same size soil or vent stack."
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.

Section 3. That this ordinance shall become effective
i~ediately upon its passage and adoption.
