AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANF~D, FLORI-
DA, A~ENDING SUB-SECTION 10 OF SECTION 5 OF
~DINANCE NO. ~19 OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, PASSED AND ADOPTED AUGUST ll, 19~7,
S~? BEING THE OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE ORDINANCE
OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, BY PROVIDING
IN CERTAIN CASES A LICENSE FOR OPERATORS OF
AMUSEMENT DE¥ICES AND THE A~0UNT THEREOF, AND
THE AM~0UNT OF LICENSE FEE FOR EACH MACHINE
PLACED BY SAID OPERATORS; AND REPEALING 0RD-
INANCE NO. 325, PASSED AND ADOPTED ~UNE 22,
19~2, PROVIDING FOR LICENSES A~D LICENSE TAX-
ES ON THE AMUSE~ENT_ DEVICES Ttx~REIN SPECIFIED;
AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. ~10, PASSED AND
ADOPTED MARCH 2~, 19~7, AMEI~DING SAID 0RDIN-
ANCE NO. 325.
BE IT EI~ACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Sub-section l0 of Section 5 of Ordin-
ance No. 419 of the City of Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted
August ll, 19~7, same being the Occupational License Ordinance of
the City of Sanford, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"10. AMUSEMENTS:
(a) Automatic Pianos, Phonographs
or other instruments cf like
character:
fl) Operator (each operator
placing machines... ..... .... ..... $100.00
(2) Each machine................. 25.00
(b) Amusement Parlors, having games
and other amusement devices,not
other~ise classified by ordin-
ance, having not in excess of 20
such games or devices............ 25.00
(1) For each game or device in
excess of 20 the license tax
shall be in additic~ to the above,
for each ...... . ............. . .... 3.00
(c) Coin operated amusement devices:
(1) Operator (each operator plac-
ing machines - no~ applicable if
license paid under (a) of this sub-

(2) Shuffleboard, miniature pool
tables, miniature bowling alleys,

(3) Devices (other than shuffle-
board, miniature pool tables,min-
iature bowling alleys, and simi-

(f) Amusements not otherwise cov-

SECTION 2. That Ordinance No. 325 of the City of San-
ford, Florida, passed and adopted on June 22, 1952, being an O~rd-
lnance providing for licenses and license taxes on the amusement
devices therein specified, and Ordinance No. ~10 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed end adopted March 2~, 1957, amending said
Ordinance No. 325, be and each of them is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith ere hereby repealed.
SECTIC~ ~. That this ordinance shall become effective
~mmediately upon its passage and adoption.
