AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
~NDING ORDINANCE IqlIMBER 56E OF ~J~ID CITY,
AS A~E~DED, ~AID 0RDINANGE BEING AN 0RDINAN~E
ESTABLISHING A ZONING PLAN WITHIN THE CITY
OF SANFORD, SAID ~ TRAN~ERRING TERRI-
TORY IN DISTRICT R-2 TO DISTRIOT O-1 IN SAID
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ~J~NFORD, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Ordinance Nmmber 562 of the City of
~anford, Florida, passed and adopted December 26, 1944, as amended,
said ordinance being entitled: -An ordinance establishing a zon-
ing plan within the City of ~auford, creating eleven (ll) districts,
regulating and restricting the location and use of buildings,
structures, land and water for trade, industry, residence or other
purposes, the height and size of structures, amd size of open
spaces for light and ventilation; adopting a map of said districts;
defining terms used; providing for the adjustment, enforcement
and amendment thereof; and prescribing penalties for violation"
be, and the same is hereby amended as follows:
The property zoned in District R-2 Multiple Family
District, described as Lots V to 18, both inclusive, of Teague, s
Addition to Sanford, and bounded on the South by Twenty-fifth
Street, on the West by alley between Park Avenue and Oak Avenue,
on the North by Pine Heights Subdivision, and em the East by alley
between Park Avenue and Palmetto Avenue, is hereby transferred ~o
District O-1 (retail commercial).
Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be, and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 5. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
