AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER
771 OF SAID CITY, AS AMENDED, SAID
ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN WITHIN
THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, SAID
AMENDMENT PLACING CERTAIN TERRITORY
IN C-2 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance Number 771 of the City of Sanford,
Florida, passed and adopted February 26, 1962, as amended, said
ordinance being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Sanford, regulating and restricting the location and use of buildings,
structures, land and water, for trade, industry, residence or other
purposes, be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
That area bounded on the North by railroad right
of way, on the South by McCracken Road, on the
West by present City limits, and on the East by
Pomegranite Avenue, being more particularly
described as follows:
Begin 712 feet North of SW Corner of SE 1/4, of
Section 26, Township 19 South, Range 30 East,
run East 287 feet, North 660 feet, East 660 feet,
North to Southerly right of way of Main line of
Seaboard Coast Line Railroad, thence North-
westerly along said Southerly right of way to
North and South Quarter Section Line of Section
26, Township 19 South, Range 30 East, South
to beginning,
be and the same is hereby placed in C-2 (General Commercial)
District.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3.
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this

copy of the foregoing Ordinance No. 947, PASSED and ADOPTED
by the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, on
the 10g day of June, 1968, was POSTED at the front door of
the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, on the
day of June, 1968.
