AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER
771 OF SAID CITY, AS AMENDED, SAID
ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN WITHIN
THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, SAID
AMENDMENT PLACING CERTAIN TERRITORY
IN C ~1 (NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL) DIS-
TRICT, AND IN R-lA (SINGLE FAMILY 1J~ELL-
ING) DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance Number 771 of the City of Sanford,
Florida, passed and adopted February 26, 1962, as amended, said ordinance
being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Sanford, regulating
and restricting the location and use of buildings, structures, land and water,
for trade, industry, residence or other purposes, be and the same is hereby
amended as follows:
That property located along Onora Road in the general area
of the Pinecrest Baptist Church, more particularly described
as follows:
From the Intersection of the East line of Lot 27, Amended
Plat of Druid Park and the North right of way line of Onora
Road, run Southwesterly along the North right of way of
Onora Road 400 feet for a point of beginning, thence run
North 125 feet to canal, Northeasterly along canal 206. 95
feet, South to the Southern right of way of Onora Road,
Northeasterly along Southern right of way of Onora Road
to North-South Quarter Section line of Section 12, Town-
ship 20 South, Range 30 East, South along said Quarter
Section line to a point which is 742.5 feet North of the
Southwest Corner of Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4
of said Section 1~2, East 427.5 feet, South 66 feet, EaSt
300 feet, South 210 feet, West 300 feet, South 466. 5 feet,
West 427.5 feet, North to a point which is 1,023 feet South
of North Section line of said Section 12, West 737 feet,
North 363 feet, East to point South of beginning, North to
point of beginning;
be and the same is hereby placed in the following Districts:
That portion of the above described land lying North of
Onora Road is hereby placed in C-1 (Neighborhood Com-
mercial)District;
That portion of the above described land lying South of
Onora Road is hereby placed in R-iA (Single Family
Dwelling) District.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts or ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.

copy of the foregoing Ordinance No. 957, PASSED and ADOPTED
by the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, on
the 23rd day of December, 1968, was POSTED at the front door
of the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, on the 2~th
day of December, 1968.
