ORDINANCE NO. 960
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLDRIDA
ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING WITHIN THE CORPORATE
AREA OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, THE AREA
DESCRIBED HEREINAFTER, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 57-1815, LAWS OF FLORIDA,
ACTS OF 1957.
WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the City
of Sanford, Florida, one (1) petition containing the names of eight (8)
property owners in the area described hereinafter, requesting annexation
to the corporate area of the City of Sanford, Florida, and requesting to
be included therein; and
WHEREAS, said petition was duly certified to the Tax Assessor
of Seminole County, Florida, pursuant to Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida,
Acts of 1957, and the certification of the Tax Assessor of Seminole County,
Florida as to the sufficiency of such petition pursuant to the terms of said
Act received; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida,
has deemed it in the best interest of the City to accept said petition and to
annex said area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that certain area in Seminole County, Florida,
described as follows, to-wit:
Lots 1 through 22, and 30 through 51, Block 36, Fourth
Section of Dreamwold, according to plat recorded in Plat
Book 4, page 99, Seminole County Public Records;
Lots 1 through 11, Vi, Mar, according to plat recorded
in Plat Book 8, page 64, Seminole County Public Records;
Begin at a point 2374. 99 feet South and 750.29 feet West of
the NE Corner of Section 2, Township 20 South, Range 30
East, Seminole County, Florida, run Northwesterly 62.72
feet to a point 2319.24 feet South and 778. 80 feet West of

said NE Corner of Section 2, thence North 405.24 feet
parallel with East line of the NE 1/4 of said Section 2 to
a point 1914. 0 feet South and 778.80 feet West of said NE
Corner of Section 2, thence East 778.78 feet to a point on
said East line 1914.0 feet South of said NE Corner, thence
Southerly along said East line of said Section 2 to a point
660.0 feet North of the SE Corner of said Section 2, thence
West 161.04 feet, parallel with the South line of said Section
2, thence South parallel with East line of the SE 1/4 of said
Section 2, a distance of 6. 60 feet to a point 653.40 feet North
and 161.04 feet West of said SE Co~er of Section 2, thence
West parallel with the South line of said Section 2, 475.20 feet,
thence North parallel with said SE 1/4, 654.72 feet to a point
1308.12 feet North and 636.24 feet West of said SE Corner of
Section 2, thence West parallel with the South line of said
Section 2, 726.0 feet, thence North parallel with the East line
of said SE 1/4, 660.0 feet, thence West parallel with theSouth
line of said Section 2, 330.0 feet, thence North parallel with
the East .line of said SE 1/4, 660.0 feet to a point 2628.12 feet
North and 1692.24 feet West of SE Corner of said Section 2,
thence East parallel with the South line of said Section 2, 210. 54
feet to a point 2628. 12 feet North and 1481.70 feet West of the
SE Corner of said Section 2, thence Southeasterly 48.0 feet to
a point 2596.32 feet North and 1445. 91 feet West of the SE
Corner of said Section 2, thence Northeasterly 976. 10 feet
to the point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of the City of Sanford,
Florida, pursuant to the terms of Chapter 57 -1815, Laws of Florida, Acts
of 1957.
SECTION 2. That upon this Ordinance becoming effective,
the residents and property owners in the above described annexed area
shall be entitled to all of the rights and privileges and immunities as
are from time to time granted to residents and property owners of the
City of Sanford, Florida, and as are further provided in Chapter 57-1815,
Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957, and shall further be subject to the res-
ponsibilities of residence or ownership as may be from time to time
determined by the governing authority of the City of Sanford, Florida,
and the provisions of said Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida, Acts of
1957.

SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.

I, H. L. Whelchel, City Clerk of the City of
Sanford, Florida, do hereby certify that a true and correct
copy of the foregoing Ordinance No. 960, PASSED and ADOPTED
by the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, on
the 27g day of January, 1969, was POSTED at the front door
of the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, on the
28g day of January, 1969.
