AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER
771 OF SAID CITY, AS AMENDED, SAID
ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN WITHIN
THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, SAID AMEND-
MENT PLACING CERTAIN TERRITORY IN M-1 (LIGHT
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT); R-i (SINGLE FAMILY DWELL-
ING) DISTRICT; R-3 (MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING)
DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance Number 771 of the City of Sanford,
Florida, passed and adopted February 26, 1962, as amended, said ordinance
being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Sanford, regulating
and restricting the location and use of buildings, structures, land and water,
for trade, industry, residence or other purposes, be and the same is hereby
amended as follows:
That that area known as "Industrial Park Area" lying on
the East side of Grapeville Avenue and South of Jewett
Lane, said are being more particularly described as
fol.lows:
Blocks 71, 72, 79 and that part of Block 78 lying
Northerly of the Seaboard Coastline Railroad and
that portion of the Railroad right of way adjacent
thereto in M. M. Smith's Subdivision,
be and the same is hereby placed in M-1 (Light Industrial) District; and
2. That that area of eight lots between Sanford Avenue and
Magnolia Avenue South of 28th Place, and being more
particularly described as follows:
Lots 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 40, 41 and 42, Park View,
2nd Addition,
be and the same is hereby placed in R-1 (Single Family Dwelling) District;
3. That that property North of Santa Barbara Drive, East
of Georgia Avenue, West of Hartwell Avenue, and South
of Osceola Drive, and being more particularly described
as follows:
and
Lots 1 through 4, Vi, Mar; and Lots 1 through 22, and
Lots 30 through 51, Dreamwold, Fourth Section,
be and the same is hereby p/aced in R-1 (Single Family Dwelling) District;
4. That that property West of Georgia Avenue and South of
Santa Barbara Drive, more particularly described as
follows:
Begin at a point 2374. 99 feet South and 750. 29 feet West of
the NE Corner of Section 2, Township 20 South, Range 30
East, Seminole County, Florida, run Northwesterly 62.72
feet to a point 2319. 24 feet South and 778.80 feet West of
said NE Corner of said Section 2, thence North 405.24 feet
parallel with the East line of the NE 1/4 of said Section 2 to
a point 1914.0 feet South and 778. 80 feet West of said NE
Corner of Section 2, thence East 778.78 feet to a point of
said East line 1914.0 feet South of said NE Corner, thence
Southerly along said East line of said Section 2 to a point
660.0 feet North of the SE Corner of said Section 2, thence
West 161.04 feet parallel with the South .line of said Section
2, thence South parallel with East line of the SE 1/4 of said
Section 2, a distance of 6. 60 feet to a point 653.40 feet North
and 161.04 feet West of said SE Corner of Section 2, thence
West parallel with the South line of said Section 2, 475.20 feet,
thence North parallel with said SE 1/4, 654.72 feet to a point
1308.12 feet North and 636.24 feet West of said SE Corner of
Section 2, thence West para.l/el with the South line of said
Section 2, 726.0 feet, thence North parallel with the East line
of said SE 1/4, 660. 0 feet, thence West parallel with the South
.line of said Section 2, 330. 0 feet, thence North parallel with
the East .line of said SE 1/4, 660.0 feet to a point 2628.12
feet North and 1692.24 feet West of SE Corner of said Section
2, thence East parallel with the South line of said Section 2,
2,210. 54 feet to a point 2628.12 feet North and 1481.70 feet
West of the SE Corner of said Section 2, thence Southeasterly
48.0 feet to a point 2596.32 feet North and 1445. 91 feet West
of the SE Corner of said Section 2, thence Northeasterly
976. 10 feet to the point of beginning; and
Lots 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10andll, Vi, Mar,
be and the same is hereby placed in R-3 (Multiple Family Dwelling)
District.
and
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.

SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shah become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
