AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER21, SECTION
21-14 THEREOF, THE CODE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA, 1954, AS AMENDED BY
ORDINANCE 789, SAID SECTION ESTABLISHING
SEWER RATES AND CHARGES FOR THE USE AND
AVAILABILITY FOR USE OF THE SEWER SYSTEM
OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, SAID
AMENDMENT REVISING SUCH RATES AND CHARGES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 21-14 of Chapter 21, The Code
of the City of Sanford, Florida, 1954, as amended, be and the same
is hereby amended as follows:
Sec. 21-14. Sewer rates and charges Schedule
There is hereby established a uniform
schedule of rates and charges for the use or
availability for use of the sewer system of the
City of Sanford, Florida, as follows:
Gallons of water used
per month Sewer Charge
4,000 gallons or less $ 2.82
S,000 gallons or a lesser amount
exceeding 4,000 gallons 2.90
6,000 gallons or a lesser amount
exceeding 5,000 gallons 3.16
7,000 gallons or a lesser amount
exceeding 6,000 gallons 3.36
8,000 gallons or a lesser amount
exceeding 7,000 gallons 3.61
9,000 gallons or a lesser~amount
exceeding 8,000 gallons 5.82
10,000 gallons or a lesser amount
exceeding 9,000 gallon 4.01
The minimum charge per month being
2.82
The maximum charge to a single residence shall be
four dollars and one cent per month. For every
usage other than single residence when consumption
of water is in excess of ten thousand gallons per
month, the monthly rate shall be eighty-one per
cent of the water billing for the given month.
There is hereby established a sewer charge
waste based upon the following formula:
