AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING FEES FOR ISSUANCE
OF BUILDING PERMITS; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That there is herewith established a schedule of fees
for the issuance of building permits for all structures within the City of
Sanford, Florida, as follows:
Valuation

$75.00 plus $3.00 per $1,000 of
valuation over first $15, 000
$330.00 plus $].. 50 per $1,000 of
valuation over first $].00, 000
$930.00 plus 60¢ per $1,000 of
valuation over first $500, 000
$I, 230. O0 plus 259~ per $1,000 of
valuation over first $1,000,000.

SECTION 2. For the purposes of determining the above mentioned,
valuation of structures shall be as follows:
Residential
Carports, covered patios,
open type buildings, etc.
Metal buildings (Butler and
American type)
$10.00 per square foot
$5.00 per square foot
$6. 00 per square foot.
SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall become effective October 1,
1969.
