AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 771 OF SAID CITY, AS
AMENDED, SAID ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN
WITHIN THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, SAID
AMENDMENT PROVIDING FOR THE CONDITIONAL USE
OF NEW CAR SALES LOTS IN C-1 NEIGHBORHOOD
COMMERCIAL DISTRICTS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Article XI of Ordinance No. 771 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, said ordinance being the Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Sanford, passed and adopted February 26,
1962, as amended, regulating and restricting the location and use of
buildings, structures, land and water for trade, industry and other
purposes, be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto an
additional Section providing for conditional uses as follows:
"SECTION 6. CONDITIONAL USES.
When, after review of application and plans appurtenant
thereto and hearing thereon, the Planning Board finds as
a fact that the proposed use or uses are consistent with
the general zoning plan of the City of Sanford and with
the public interest, the following may be considered and
determined as a permitted use in C-l, Neighborhood
Commercial Districts:
(a) New Car Sales Lots."
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conf/ict
herewith be a:~d the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
