AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, CLOSING, VACATING AND ABANDON~
ING THAT CERTAIN NORTH-SOUTH ALLEY ANI~
EAST-WEST ALLEY IN COTTAGE HILL SUBDIVI~N,
IN THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that certain alley running Southerly from
Washington Street, thence Westerly to Glenway Drive, Cottage Hill Sub-
division, in the City of Sanford, Florida, described as follows:
That certain alley in Cottage Hill Subdivision of
which the East-West portion lies between Lots
2, 3, 4 and 5, and Lots 23 and 24, and the North-
South portion lies between Lots 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9,
be and the same is closed, vacated and abandoned as a public alley in
the City of Sanford, Florida, and the City does hereby disclaim for
itself and the public all interest therein.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.

Sanford, Florida, do hereby certify that a true and correct
copy of the foregoing Ordinance No. 996, PASSED and ADOPTED
by the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, on
the 10th day of August, 1970, was POSTED at the front door
of the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, on the
12th day of August, 1970.
