AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 362 OF
SAID CITY, AS AMENDED, SAID ORDINANCE
BEING AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A ZONING
PLAN WITHIN THE CITY OF SANFORD, SAID
AMENDMENT TRANSFERRING CERTAIN TERRI-
TORY IN DISTRICT R-1AA, SINBLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO R-2, MULTIPLE
FAMILY DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 362 of the City of Sanford,
Florida passed and adopted December 26, 1944, as amended, said
Ordinance being entitled: "An ordinance establishing a zoning plan
within the City of Sanford, creating 14 districts, regulating and re-
stricting the location and use of buildings, structures, land and water
for trade, industry, residence or other purposes, the height and size
of structures, the size of open spaces for light and ventilation, adopting
a map of said districts; defining terms, uses; providing for the adjust-
ment, enforcement and amendment thereof, and prescribing penalties
for violation." be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
That area bounded on the South by Second Street,
on the East by Mellonville Avenue, on the North
by Seminole Boulevard, and on the West by the
present R-2 zone (East of San Carlos Avenue)
be and the same is hereby transferred from R-iAA, Single Family
residential district to R-2, multiple £amily residential district.
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict l'erewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SgCTION 3: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
