AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 362
OF SAID CITY, AS AMENDED, SAID ORDINANCE
BEING AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A ZONING
PLAN V~ITHIN THE CITY OF SANFORD, SAID
AMENDMENT TRANSFERRING CERTAIN TERRI-
TORY IN DISTRICT R-l, SINGLE FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO C-N, COMMERCIAL
RETAIL SHOPPING DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 362 of the City of Sanford,
Florida, passed and adopted December 26, 1944, as amended, said
Ordinance being entitled: "An Ordinance establishing a zoning plan
~vithin the City of Sanford, creating 14 districts, regulating and re-
stricting the location and use of buildings, structures, land and water
for trade, industry, residence or other purposes, the height and size
of structures, and size of open spaces for light and ventilation, adopting
a map of said districts; defining terms, uses; providing for the adjust-
ment, enforcement and amendment thereof, and prescribing penalties
for violation. ", be, and the same is hereby amended as follows:
That area bounded by 25th Street on the North,
2 5th Place on the South and Magnolia Avenue
on the V~est and palmetto Avenue on the East,
also described as Lot A and all (less the South
150 feet) of Lot B, Frank L. V~oodruff's Subdivision,
and all (less the South 150 feet) of the unplatted part
of the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 1, Township
20 South, Range 30 East,
be and the same is hereby transferred from R-l, single family
residential district to C-N, commercial retail shopping district.
SECTION 2: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall become effective h-nme-
diately upon its passage and adoption.
