AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER
362 OF SAID CITY, AS AMENDED, SAME BEING
THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, BY ELIMINATING FROM PARAGRAPH
2 A OF SECTION 5 OF SAID ORDINANCE THE
LIMITATION OF TWO AUTOMOBILES IN A
PRIVATE GARAGE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 362 of the City of Sanford,
Florida, passed and adopted December 26, 1944, as amended, said
Ordinance being entitled: "An ordinance establishing a zoning plan
within the City of Sanford, creating 14 districts, regulating and re-
stricting the location and use of buildings, structures, land and water
for trade, industry, residence and other purposes, the height and size
of structures, the size of open spaces for light and ventilation; adopting
a map of said districts; defining terms, uses; providing for the adjust-
ment, enforcement and amendment thereof; and prescribing penalties
for violation. ", be, and the same is hereby amended as follows:
Paragraph 2 of paragraph A of Section 5 be and the same is
hereby amended by eliminating therefrom the following language per-
taining to private garages: "For the accommodation of not more than
two automobiles."
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall be come effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED This 8th day of July, A.D. 1957.
