AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA PROHIBITING THE SALE AND STORAGE
OF GASOLINE IN GLASS CONTAINERS AND PRE-
SCRIBING pENALTIES THEREFOR.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That in the interests of the public health, safety
and welfare it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to
sell, allow to be sold, or store gaaoline in any glass container.
SECTION 2: Violation of any portion of this Ordinance shall
be punishable by a fine not to exceed $200.00 or by imprisonment in
the City Jail not to exceed ninety days, or both.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 13th day of January, A.D.
1958.
