ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA CLOSING, VACATING AND ABANDONING
THAT PORTION OF FRENCH AVENUE IN THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA BEGINNING AT THE NORTH-
WEST CORNER OF LOT 26 OF BLOCK 8, DREAMWOLD,
RUN WEST 17 FEET TO THE EAST RIGHT-OF-WAY
LINE OF STATE ROAD 15 (U.S. HIGHWAY 17-92),
THENCE SOUTH 260 FEET, THENCE EAST 17
FEET TO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 17
OF BLOCK 8, DREAMWOLD, THENCE NORTH
260 FEET TO POINT OF BEGINNING. ALSO
BEGINNING AT NORTHEAST CORNER OF LOT
OF BLOCK 9, DREAMWOLD, RUN EAST 17 FEET
TO THE WEST RIGHT-OF-WAy LINE OF STATE
ROAD 15 (U.S. HIGHWAy 17-92), THENCE SOUTH
260 FEET, T
HENCE WEST 17 FEET TO THE SOUTH-
EAST CORNER OF LOT 9-A OF 8LOCK 9, DREAMWOLD,
THENCE NORTH 260 FEET TO POINT OF BEGINNING.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That that portion of French Avenue in the City
of Sanford, Florida beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 26 of
Block 8, Drearnwold, run West 17 feet to the East right-of-way line
of State Road 15 (U. S. Highway 17-92), thence South 260 feet, thence
East 17 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 17 of Block 8, Dreamwold,
thence North 260 feet to point of beginning. Also, beginning at North-
east corner of Lot 1 of Block 9, Dreamwold, run East 17 feet to the
West right-of-way line of State Road 15 (U. S. Highway 17-92), thence
South 260 feet, thence West 17 feet to the Southeast corner of Lot
of Block 9, Dreamwold, thence North 260 feet to point of beginning, be
and the same is hereby vacated, closed and abandoned as a public street
of the City of Sanford, Florida.
SECTION 2: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
