AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER
362 OF SAID CITY, AS AMENDED, SAID
ORDINANCE BEING AN ORDINANCE ES-
TABLISHING A ZONING PLAN WITHIN THE
CITY OF SANFORD, SAID AMENDMENT
TRANSFERRING CERTAIN TERRITORY IN
DISTRICT R-5, Multiple Family, to
Commercial Retail.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION I: That Ordinance No. 362 of the City of Sanford,
Florida passed and adopted December 26, 1944, as amended, said
ordinance being entitled: "An ordinance establishing a zoning plan
within the City of Sanford, creating 14 districts, regulating and re-
stricting the Iocation and use of buildings, structures, land and water
for trade, industry, residence or other purposes, the heights and size
of structures, the size of open spaces for light and ventilation, adopt-
ing a map of said districts; defining terms, uses; providing for the
adjustment, enforcement and amendment thereof, and prescribing
penalties for violation." be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
The property zoned in District R-5, Multiple
Family, located on East side o£ Southwest Road
between 13th and 16th Streets, said property being
more particularly described as Lots 6, 7 and 8 of
Block 8, Meisch Subdivision; Lots 18, 19, 20, 21,
22, 23 and 24, Cares Addition; that part of Lot 20
o[ Robinson's Survey lying within 150 feet of
Southwest Road; and that part of unplarted part
of SW I/4 of NW I/4 of NE 1/4 of Section 35,
Township 19 South, Range 30 East, lying
within 150 feet of Southwest Road,
be and the same is hereby transferred from R-5, Multiple Family, ro
C-I, Commercial Retail
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall become effective
immediarely upon its passage and adoption.
