HomeMy WebLinkAbout640Attest: ORDINANCE NO. 640 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA AMENDING CHAPTER 18, SECTION 18-14 THEREOF, THE CODE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, ENTITLED DISORDERLY PLACES- -GENERALLY. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA: SECTION i: That Chapter 18, Section 18-14 thereof, The Code of the City of Sanford, Florida 1954, entitled "Disorderly places--Generally.,, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "Any owner or keeper of a hotel, boarding house, bar, billiard room, pool room, bowling alley, rooming house, private or public house, or other structure w/thin which or the curtilage who shall allow or permit any persons who may resort to their houses by day or by night, to disturb their neighbors or the public peace by loud cries, talking, boisterous songs or other noise calculated to interrupt the peace and quietude of the neighborhood, or who shall permit upon such premises any intoxicating liquor to be unlawfully manufactured, sold, stored or deposited for the purpose of sale, or any narcotics to be sold, stored or deposited for sale shall be deemed to be keeping a disorderly house or place and punished as provided in Section 1-8 of this Code." SECTION 2: That ail ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 3: That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED This_, l?__day of April A.D. 1958. CERT iFICA TE I, H. N.
