AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD~
FLORIDA CLOSING~ VACATING AND ABANDONING
THAT CERTAIN ALLEY IN THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA LYING BETWEEN FIRST STREET AND
SECOND STREET AND MANGOUSTINE AVENUE
AND AVOCADO AVENUE~ MORE PARTICULARLY
DESCRIBED AS EXTENDING FROM THE EAST PROPERTY
LINE OF LOT 18~ THENCE EAST TO THE WEST PROPERTY
LINE OF LOT 25, THENCE NORTH TO FIRST STREET,
ACCORDING TO GRACELINE COURT, RECORDED IN
PLAT BOOK 3~ PAGE 99, PUBLIC RECORDS OF
SEMINOLE COUNTY~ FLORIDA~ RESERVING
HOWEVER~ TO THE CITY OF SANFORD AN
EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITIES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That that certain alley in the City of Sanford,
Florida lying between First Street md Second Street and Mangoustine
Avenue and Avocado Avenue, more particularly described as extending
from the East property line of Lot 18, thence East to the West property
line of Lot 25, thence Nor'th to First Street, according to Graceline Court,
recorded in Plat Book 3, page 99, Public Records of Seminole County,
Florida, reserving however, to the City of Sanford an easement for
public utilities, be and the same is hereby closed, vacated and aban-
doned as a public alley in the City of Sanford, Florida.
SECTION 2: That the City of Sanford hereby reserves unto
itself over the area encompassed in said alley a reservation for con-
struction, maintenance and operation of public utilities.
SECTION 3: All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
