AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER
362 OF SAID CITY, AS AMENDED, SAID
ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A ZONING PLAN
WITHIN THE CITY OF SANFORD, REGULATING
THE USE OF LAND, SAID AMENDMENT PRO-
HIBITING THE USE OF LAND WITHIN THE CITY
OF SANFORD FOR TRAILER PARKS AND JUNK
YARDS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 362 of the City of Sanford,
Florida passed and adopted December 26, 1944, as amended, said ordinance
being entitled: "An ordinance establishing a zoning plan within the City of
Sanford, creating 14 districts, regulating and restricting the location and
use of buildings, structures, land and water for trade, industry, residence
or other purposes, the height and size of structm.es, the size of open spaces
for light and ventilation, adopting a map of said districts; defining terms,
uses; providing for the adjustment, enforcement and amendment thereof,
and prescribing penalties for violation, .. be and the same is hereby amended
by adding thereto the following:
"It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or
corporation to use any land within the corporate
limits of the City of Sanford, Florida for the
establishment and maintenance of a trailer
park or junk yard.'
SECTION 2: Ail ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage and adoption.
