AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 621 OF SAID CITY PASSED
AND ADOPTED THE FOURTEENTH DAY OF OCTOBER,
A.D. 1957, SAID ORDINANCE ADOPTING A POSITION
CLASSIFICATION PLAN FOR EMPLOYEES OF SAID CITY,
SAID AMENDMENT PROVIDING FOR THREE PER CENT
COST OF LIVING WAGE INCREASE.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 621 of the City of Sanford, Florida
was passed and adopted October 14, 1957 and provided for job requirements
and classification of positions of employees of the City of Sanford, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford deems
it necessary to provide for an overall three per cent cost of living raise
to said employees affected by said plan,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 621 of the City of Sanford, Florida
passed and adopted October 14, 1957 be and the same is hereby amended by
providing a three per cent cost of living increase to employees according
to said amended classification schedule attached hereto and hereby made
a part of this Ordinance by reference as fully and completely as though
the same were set forth herein.
SECTION 2: That ail ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this ]-3 day of October, A.D. 1958.
