AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER
362 OF SAID CITY, AS AMENDED, SAID
ORDINANCE BEING AN ORDINANCE ES-
TABLISHING A ZONING PLAN WITHIN THE
CITY OF SANFORD, SAID AMENDMENT
TRANSFERRING CERTAIN TERRITORY IN
DISTRICT R- 1, SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL
DISTRICT, TO C-2, COMMERCIAL INDUSTRIAL.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Ordinance No. 362 of the City of Sanford,
Florida, passed and adopted December 26, 1944, as amended, said
ordinance being entitled: "An ordinance establishing a zoning plan
within the City of Sanford, creating 14 districts, regulating and re-
stricting the location and use of buildings, structures, land and water
for trade, industry, residence or other purposes, the heights and size
of structures, the size of open spaces for Iight and ventilation, adopt-
lng a map of said districts; defining terms, uses; providing for the
adjustment, enforcement and amendment thereof, and prescribing
penalties for violation." be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
The property zoned in District R-l, Single
Family Residential District, located on the
Northeast corner of Thirteenth Street and
Elm Avenue, said property being more
particularIy described as Lots 8, 9 and 10,
Block 14, Tier 6, of E. R. Traffordts Map
of the City of Sanford, recorded in Plat Book
1, pages 56-64, Seminole County, Public
Records,
be and the same is hereby transferred from R-I, Single Family ReM-
dential District, to C-2, Commercial Industrial.
SECTION 2: That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: That this ordinance shah become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
