AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD~
FLORIDA~ AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER
362 OF SAID CITY, AS AMENDED~ SAID ORDI-
NANCE BEING AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING
A ZONING PLAN WITHIN THE CITY OF SANFORD,
SAID AMENDMENT TRANSFERRING CERTAIN
TERRITORY IN DISTRICT R-1 TO DISTRICT
R-2 IN SAID CITY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance Number 362 of the City of Sanford,
Florida, passed and adopted Deceumber 26, 1944, as amended, said ordinance
being entitled: "An Ordinance establishing a zoning plan within the City of
Sanford, creating fourteen (14) districts, regulating and restricting the
location and use of buildings, structures, land and water for trade, industry,
residence or other purposes; the height and size of structures, and size of
open spaces for light and ventilation; adopting a map of said districts; de-
fining terms, uses; providing for the adjustment, enforcement and amendment
thereof; and prescribing penalties for violation. ", be, and the same is hereby
amended as follows:
The property zoned in District R-I, (Single Family District),
described as: The West 1/2 of Blocks 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13,
and Lots 6 and 7 of Block 14, all in Tier 6, of E. R. Traffordts
Map of the Town of Sanford, according to Plat Book 1, pages 56-
64, AND The East 1/2 of Blocks 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13, and
Lots 1 and 2 of Block 14, ali in Tier 7 of E. R. Trafford's Map
of the Town of Sanford, according to Plat Book 1, pages 56-
64, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida,
be, and the same is hereby transferred from said R-I, Single Family District,
to R-2, Multiple Fan:ily District.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith, be, and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become ~ ·

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of April, A.D. 1959.
