AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD~
FLORIDA~ AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER
362 OF SAID CITY~ AS AMENDED~ SAID ORDI-
NANCE BEING AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING
A ZONING PLAN WITHIN TIlE CITY OF SANFORD~
SAID AMENDMENT RANSFERRING CERTAIN
TERRITORY IN DISTRICT R-I, TO DISTRICT
R-2, IN SAID CITY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance Number 362 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopt2d December 26, 1944, as amended,
said ordinance being entitled: "An Ordinance establishing a zoning plan
within the City of Sanford, creating fourteen (14) districts, regulating
and restricting the location and use et' buildings, structures, land and
water for trade, industry, residence or other purposes; the height and
size of structu:-es, and size of open spaces for light and ventilation;
adopting a map of said districts; defining terms, uses; providing for
the adjustment, Chloe'cement and amendment thereof; and Prescribing
penalties for violation. ", be, and the same is hereby amended as follows:
The property zoned in District R-1 (Single Family Resi-
dential Dlstrict) from Fourth Street to Sixth Street between
Oak Avenue and generally the railroad tracks to the west
described as Block 6, Tier 5, Block 7, Tier 5, Block 7,
Tier 6, and Lots 1 to 5 inclusive, Block 6, Tier 6, all
of E. R. Trafford's Map of the Town of Sanford, according
to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book ~, pages 56-64, Public
Records of Seminole County, FIorida,
be and the same is hereby transferred from R-I, Single Family Resi-
dential District, to R-2, Multiple Family Residential District.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith, be, and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall i~ecorr, e effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
