AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING
WITHIN THE CORPORATE AREA OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, THE AREA KNOWN
AS SOUTH PINECREST THIRD ADDITION,
ACCORDING TO THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF
SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREINAFTER;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE FOR SAID
ANNEXATION AND FOR THE RIGHTS AND
PRIVI LEGES FOR CITIZENSHIP IN THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, there have been filed with the City Clerk of the
City of Sanford, Florida, twenty-four (24) petitions containing the names of
fifty (50) property owners in the arem known as South Pinecrest Third
Addition, Seminole County, Florida, according to the Public Records
thereof, requesting annexation to the corporate area of the City of
Sanford, Florida, and requesting to be. included therein, and
WHEREAS, said petitions were duly certified to the tax
assessor of Seminole County, Florida, pursuant to Chapter 57-t8i5,
Laws of Florida, Acts of i957, and the certification of the tax assessor
of Seminole County, Florida as to ti~e sufficiency oi such petition put-
suant to the terms of said Act received, and
WHEREAS, me City Commission of the City of Sanford,
Florida has deemed it in the best interest of the City to accept said
petitions and to annex said area,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF
THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION ~. That timt certain area known as Soum Pinecr~
Third Addition, according to tae Public Records of Seminole County,
Florida, and mo:'e particularly described as follows, to-wit:
Begin 735 feet West and 77 3/4 yards North of
SE corner of N 1/2 of NE i/4, Section 12, Town-
snip 20 South, Range 30 East, run West 350 1/2 yards,
No:m '77 3/4 yards, East 60 yards, North 32 degrees
West 110 yards, East to point North of beginning,
South to beginnina; also, the West 350 1/2 yards
of the East 595 i/2 yards of the Souti~ 7'7 3/4 yards
of the North i/2 of the NE ~/4, Section ~2, Township
20 South, Range 30 East, Seminole Gouaty, Florida,
be and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of the City of
Sanford, Florida pursuant to the terms of Chapter 57-t8[5, Laws of
Florida, Acts of 1957.
SECTION 2. That upon this Ordinance becoming effective,
the residents and property owners in the above-described annexed
area shall be entitled to all of the rights and privileges and immunities
as a~-e from time to time granted to residents and property ovmers of
the City of Sanford, Florida, and as are further provided in Chapter
57-1815, Laws of Florida, Acts or' 1957, and shall further be subject
to the responsibilities of residency or ownership as may be from time
to time determined by the governing authority of the City of Sanford,
Florida, and the provisions of said Chapter 57-z8t5, Laws of Florida,
Acts of 1957.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
