ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FI_ORIDA ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING
WITHIN THE CORPORATE AREA OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, THE AREA KNOWN
AS SOUTH PINECREST FOURTH ADDITION,
ACCORDING TO THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF
SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND MORE
PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREINAFTER;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE FOR SAID
ANNEXATION AND FOR THE RIGHTS AND
PRIVILEGES FOR CITIZENSHIP IN THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, there have been filed with tine City Clerk of the
City of Sanford, Florida, four (4) petitions contakdng the names of
thirty-nine (39) property owners in the area known as South Pinecrest
Fou.th Addition, Seminole County, Florida, according to the PuDlic
Records thereof, requesting annexation to the corporate area of me
City of Sanford, Florida, and requesting to be included therein, and
WHEREAS, said petitions were duly certified to the tax
assessor of Seminole County, Florida, pursuant to Chapter 57-1815,
Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957, and the certification of the tax assessor
of Seminole County, Florida as to the sufficiency of such petition pur-
suant to the terms of said Act received, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the Cxty of Sanford,
Florida nas deemed it in the best interest of the City to accept said petitions
and to annex said area,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY TIr~ PEOPLE OF
TkiE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION i. That that certain area k~own as South Pinecrest
Fourth Addition, according to ti~e Public Records of Seminole County,
Florida, and more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
The North 922 feet of the West 750 feet of the
East 1,485 feet of the South 1/2 of the NE 1/4
of Section i2, Township 20 South, Range 30 East
(less the West 100 feet of the South 115 feet thereof).
Also Lot 15 of South Pinecrest, Third Addition,
according to plat thereof recocded in Plat Book 11,
pages 62 and 63 of the Public Records of Seminole
County, Florida,
be and the same is l~ereby annexed to and made a part of the City of
Sanford, Florida pursuant to the terms of Chapter 57-1815, Laws of
Florida, Acts of ~957.
SECTION 2. That upon this Ordinance becoming effective,
the residents and property owners hn the above-described annexed
area shall be entitled to all of the rights and privileges and immunities
as are from tin e to time granted to residents and property owners of
the City of Sanford, Florida, and as are further provided in Chapter
57-i815, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957, and shall furmer be subject
to the responsibilities of residency or ownership as may be from time
to time determined by the governing authority of the City of Sanford,
Florida, and the provisions of said Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida,
Acts of 1957.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this i4til day of September, A.D. 1959.

I, H. N. Tamm, Jr., City Clerk of the City of Sanford,
Florida, do hereby certify that a true and correct copy of the fore-
going, O~dinance No. 688, PASSED and ADOPTED by the City Commission
of the City of Sanford, Florida, on the l$th. Day of September, 1959,
was POSTED at the front door of the City Hall in the City of Sanford,
Florida, on the 15th. day of September, 1959.
