AN ORDINANCE OF 2H E CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER
362 OF SAID CITY, AS AMENDED, SAID
ORDINANCE BEING AN ORDINANCE ES-
TABLISHING A ZONING PLAN WITHIN THE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, SAID
AMENDMENT PLACING CERTAIN TERRI-
TORY IN DISTRICT R-i, SINGLE FAMILY
DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance Number 362 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 26, 1944, as amended,
said ordinance being entitled: "An Ordinance establishing a zoning plan
witl~in the City of Sanford, creating fifteen (15) districts, regulating
and restricting the location and use of buildings, structures, land and
water for trade, industry, residence or other purposes; the height
and size of structures, and size of open spaces for light and ventila-
tion; adopting a map of said districts; defining terms, uses; providing
for the adjustment, enforcement and amendment thereof; and pre-
scribing penalties for violation. ", be, and the same is hereby amended
as follows:
Property located on the South side of 27tn
Street between French Avenue and Oak Avenue
extended, and more particularly described as
Goven~ment Lot 2 of Section 1, Townsl~ip 20
South, Range 30 East, and all of the SE ~/4 of
said Section 1, Township 20 South, Range 30 East,
lying West of the East line of the Sanford Grant
(LESS the South 1165.86 feet of the North 1888.40
feet thereof).
be, and the same is hereby zoned R-i, Single Family District.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conf/ict i~erewith, be, and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. Tlmt this ordi~ance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of November, A.D.
