HomeMy WebLinkAbout700 ORDINANCE NO. 700 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 362 OF SAID CITY, AS AMENDED, SAID ORDINANCE BEING AN ORDINANCE ES- TABLISHING A ZONING PLAN WITHIN THE CIT'f OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, SAID AMENDMENT PLACING CERTAIN TERRI- TORY IN C-1 (COMMERCIAL-RETAIL) DISTRICT. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA: SECTION i. That Ordinance Number 362 of the City of Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 26, i944, as amended, said ordinance being entitled: "An Ordinance establishing a zoning plan witi~in the City of Sanford, creating fifteen (15) districts, regulating and restricting the location and use of buildings, structures, land and water for trade, industry, residence or other purposes; the height and size of structures, and size of open spaces for light and ventila- tion; adopting a map of said districts; defining terms, uses; providing for the adjustment, enforcement and amendment thereof; and pre- scribing penalties for violation. ", be, and the same is hereby amended as follows: Beginning at the center of the intersection of Mellonville Avenue and Celery Avenue, run West 120 feet, South 4 degrees West 153 feet, East 60 feet, North 4 degrees East 13 feet, East 60 feet, North 4 degrees East 140 feet to beginning (less street right of way), be, and the same is hereby zoned C-1 (Commercial-Retail) District. SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, be, and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23d day of November, A.D. 1959.
