AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER
362 OF SAID CITY, AS AMENDED, SAID
ORDINANCE BEING AN ORDINANCE ES-
TABLISHING A ZONING PLAN WITHIN THE
CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, SAID
AMENDMF~T PLACING CERTAIN TERRI-
TORy IN C-N, (COMMERCIAL-RETAiL
NEIGHBORHOOD SHOPPING) DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance Number 362 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 26, 1944, as amended,
said ordinance being entitled: "An Ordinance establishin~ a zoning plan
within the City of Sanford, creating fifteen (15) districts, regulating
and restricting- the location and use of buildings, structures, land and
water for trade, industry, residence or other purposes; the height
and size of structures, and size of open spaces for light and ventila-
tion; adopting a map of said districts; defining terms, uses; providing
for the adjustment, enforcement and amendment ti~ereof; and pre-
scribing penalties for violation. ", be, and the same is hereby amended
as follows:
Beginning 120 feet West of the center of
Mellonville Avenue and Celery Avenue,
run West 60 feet, South 4 degrees West 153 feet,
East 60 feet, North 4 degrees East to beginning
(less street right of way on the North end), ALSO
Beginning 140 feet South 4 degrees West of center
of intersection of Mellonville Avmue and Celery
Avenue, run West 60 feet, South 4 degrees West
13 feet, West 120 feet, South 4 degrees West
135 feet, East 180 feet, North 4 degrees East
148 feet to beginning, all in Section 31,
19 South, Range 31 East, Township
be, and the same is hereby zoned C-N (Commercial-Retail Neighborhood
Shopping) District.
SECTION 2. That all ordinal ces or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith, be, and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective
imme~liately upon its passage adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23d day of November, A.D.
