AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING
WITHIN THE CORPORATE AREA OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, THE AREA KNOWN
AS A PORTION OF PACE ACRES, ACCORDING
TO THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF SEMINOLE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
HEREINAFTER; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
FOR SAID ANNEXATION AND FOR THE RIGHTS
AND PRIVILEGES FOR CITIZENSHIP IN THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the
City of Sanford, Florida, one (1) petition containing the names of two
(2) property owners in the area known as a portion of Pace Acres,
Seminole County, Florida, according to the Public Records thereof,
requesting annexation to the corporate area of the City of Sanford,
Florida and requesting to be included therein, and
WHERF~kS, said petition was duly certified to the tax assessor
of Seminole County, Florida, pursuant to Chapter 57-1815, Laws of
Florida, Acts of 1957, and the certification of the tax assessor of
Seminole County, Florida as to the sufficiency of such petition pur-
suant to the terms of said Act received, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida
has deemed it in the best interest of the City to accept said petition and
to annex said area,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF
THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that certain area known as a portion of
Pace Acres, according to the Public Records of Seminole County,
Florida, and more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
All of Lots 14 and 21, of Pace Acres,
according to plat thereof recorded in
Plat Book 3, page 21, Public Records
of Seminole County, Florida.
be, and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of the City of
Sanford, Florida pursuant to the terms of Chapter 57-1815, Laws of
Florida, Acts of 1957.
SECTION 2. That upon this Ordinance becoming effective,
the residents and property owners in the above-described annexed
area shall be entitled to all of the rights and privileges and immunities
as are from time to time granted to residents and property owners of
the City of Sanford, Florida, and as are further provided in Chapter
57-1815, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957, and shall further be subject
to the responsibilities of residence or ownership as may be from time
to time determined by the governing authority of the City of Sanford,
Florida, and the provisions of said Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida,
Acts of 1957.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon its passage and adoption.

Sanford, Florida, do hereby certify that a true and correct
copy of the foregoing, Ordinance No 712, PASSED and ADOPTED
by the City Commission of the City of Sanford, i"lorida,
the lithe day of April, 1960, was POSTED at the front door
of the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, on the
12th day of April, 1960.
