AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING
WITHIN THE CORPORATE AREA OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, THE AREA KNOWN
AS A PORTION OF SAN SEM KNOLLS FIRST
ADDITION, ACCORDING TO THE PUBLIC
RECORDS OF SEMINOLE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
AND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
HEREINAFTER; PROVIDING AN EFFh;CTIVE DATE
FOR SAID ANNEXATION AND FOR TIlE RIGHTS
AND PRIVILEGES FOR CITIZENSHIP IN THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA.
WHERZ;AS, there has been flied with the City Clerk of the
City of Sanford, Florida, one (1) petition containing the names of four
(4) property owners in the area known as a portion of San Sem Knolls
First Addition, Seminole County, Florida, accorOing to the Public Records
mereof, requesting annexation to the corporate area of the City of Sanford,
Florida, and requesting to be included therein, and
WHERZAS, said petition was duly certified to the tax assesao,-
of Seminole County, Florida, pursuant to Chapter 57-18J~5, Laws of
Florida, Acts of 1957, and the certification of the tax assessor of
Seminole County, Florida as to the sufficiency of suci~ i~etition pursuant
to the terms of said Act received, and
WHERdAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida
has deemed it in tl~e best interest of the City to accept said petition and
to annex said area,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF
THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that certain area knovm as a portion of
San Sero Knolls First Addition, according to the Public Records of
Seminole County, Florida, and more particularly described as follows,
to-wit:
Lots 1 through 9 inclusive, and that portion of Lot 10
lying South of the North line of Lot 9 extended easterly
to the easterly line of said Lot 10, all in Block I and all
of Block 2, SAN SEM KNOLLS FIRST ADDITION, according
to Plat Book 13, page 65, Public Records of Seminole County,
Florida, together with the unplatted portion of the SW 1/4 of
the NW 1/4 of Section 36, Township 19 South, Range 30 East,
lying South of the South line of Lot 2, Block 2, of said SAN
SIgM KNOLLS FIRST ADDITION extended easterly to the
center of Marshall Avenue and lying adjacent to and easterly
from the easterly liue of Lot 10 of said Block 2 and lying
North of the North line of 20th Street and lying West of
the center liue of sa~d Marshall Avenue, ami the West 1/2
of Marshall Avenue lying North of me said South line of said
Lot 2 of said Block 2 and South of the said North line of said
Lot 9 of said Block 1 extended easterly.
be, and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of the City of
Sanford, Florida pursuant to the terms of Chapter 57-1815, Laws of
Florida, Acts of i957.
SECTION 2. That upon this Ordinance becoming effective,
the residents anc~ property owners in the above-described annexed
area shall be entitled to all of the rights and privileges and immunities
as are from time to time granted to residents an0 property owners of
the City of Sanford, Florida, and as are further provided in Chapter
57-1815, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957, and shall further be subject
to the responsibilities of residence or ow~ership as may be from time
to time determined by the governing authority of the City of Sanford,
Florida, and the provisions of said Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida,
Acts of 1957.
SECTION 3. Tint this ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this llth day of April, A.D. 1960.

Ford, Florida, do hereby certify that a true and correct copy
of the foregoing, Ordinance No. ?ll, PASSED and ADOPTED by
the City Commission of the City of Sa~ford, Florida, on the
llth [)ay of April, 1960, was POSTED at the front door of the
City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, on the 12th day
of April, 1960.
