HomeMy WebLinkAbout713ORDINANCE NO. 713 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 3, OF ORDINANCE NO. 2 PASSED AND ADOPTED ON m~m no~ ....... 56,__ 1937, SAME BEING AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE MANUFACTURE, DISTRIBUTION AND SALE IN THE CITY '-'n~ u~- (1%) PER CENTU~ OF ALCOHOL BY WEIGHT, AS AMENDED ~0~R~_INANCE NO. 360, AND ORDINANCE NO. 392, ORDINANCE NO. ~71, AND ORDINANCE NO. 5~6, SAID SECTION 3 DESIGNATING A ZONE IN WHICH THE BUSINESS OF DISTRIBUTING OR SELLING SAID BEVERAGES MAY BE ENGAGED. BE IT ENACTED BY T~ PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA: Section 1. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 256, passed and adopted on the 28m day of June, 1937, same being an ordinance regulating the manufacture, distribution and sale in the City of Sanford, Florida, of beverages containing more than one (1%) per centum of alcohol by weight, as amended by Ordinance No. 360, and by Ordinance No. 392, and by Ordinance No. 471, and by Ordinance No. 536, be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows: Section ~. That the following portion of the City of Sanford, Florida, is hereby designated as a zone only in which intoxicating liquors, except wines and beer, may be sold, to-wit: On First Street from Sanford Avenue to French Avenute On Oak Avenue, Park Avenue, Magnolia Avenue and Palmetto Avenue from Commercial Street to Second Street. On Sanford Avenue from Commercial Street to Fifth Street. O~State Highway No. 3 from Geneva Avenue South to the City Limits. On Thirteenth Street from Williams Street to Nulberry Street. On Commercial Street from Railroad Avenue to Sanford Avenue. On French Avenue from Santa Barbara Drive South to the City Limits. On Park Drive from Twenty-Fifth Street South to the City Limits. Section 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordiaances in conflict herewith be, and the same are here- by repealed. Section 3. That this ordinance shall become effective fmmediately upon its passage amd adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11 day of April 1960. As the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida.
