HomeMy WebLinkAbout721 ORDINANCE NO. 721 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, AMKNDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 362 OF SAID CITY, AS AMENDED, SAID ORDINANCE BEING AN ORDINANCE ES- TABLISHING A ZONING PLAN WITHIN THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, SAID AMEND- MENT PLACING CERTAIN TERRITORY IN R-lA (SINGLE-FAMILY) DISTRICT. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That Ordinance Number 362 of the City of Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted December 26, 1944, as amended, said ordinance being entitled: "An Ordinance establishing a zoning plan within the City of Sanford, creating fifteen (15) districts, regulating and restricting the location and use of buildings, structures, land and water for trade, industry, residence or other purposes; the heights and size of structures, and size of open spaces for light and ventila- tion; adopting a map of said districts; defining terms, uses; providing for the adjustment, enforcement and amendment thereof; and prescribing penalties for violation. ", be, and the same is hereby amended as follows: All of Lots 14 and 21, of Pace Acres, according to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 3, page 21, Public Records of Seminole County, Florida, be, and the same is hereby zoned R-IA (Single-Family) District. SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, be, and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective imme- diately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of June, A.D. 1960. As the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida CERTIFICATE I, H. N. Tamm,, Jr., City Clerk of the City of Sanford, Florida do hereby certify that a true and correct copy of the foregoing Ordinance No. 721, PASSED and ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, on the 27th day of June 1960, was POSTED at the front door of the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, on the 28th day of June, 1960.
