ORDINANCE NO. 7~-3
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER
644 OF SAID CITY, SAID ORDINANCE PROVIDING
FOR THE ABANDONMENT OF AN ALLEY IN
GRACELINE COURT BUT RESERVING THEREIN
A PUBLIC UTILITIES EASEMENT, SAID AMEND-
MENT ABANDONING A PORTION OF SAID PUBLIC
UTILITIES EASEMENT RESERVATION.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 644 of the City of Sanford, Florida
was passed and adopted May 26, 1958, and said ordinance abandoned an
alley lying between First Street and Second Street and Mangoustine
Avenue and Avocado Avenue, more particularly extending from the
East property line of Lot 18, thence East to the West property line
of Lot 25, thence North to First Street, according to the plat of
Graceline Court, reserving, however, to the City of Sanford an
easement thereon for public utilities, and
WHEREAS, it develops that an additional alley area run-
ning North and South has been heretofore conveyed to the City of
Sanford thus eliminating the necessity for the reservation of a public
utilities easement on that portion of the heretofore abandoned alley
running North and South and lying West of Lot 25,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF
THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the public utilities easement heretofore
reserved by the City of Sanford, Florida in the plat of Graceline Court,
according to Plat Book 3, page 99, and running North and South between
Second Street and First Street and lying westerly from and adjacent to
the West property line of Lot 25 of said plat, be and the same is hereby
vacated and abandoned as a public utilities easement of the City of
Sanford, Florida.
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith, be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23d day of January, A.D. 1961.
