HomeMy WebLinkAbout746ORDINANCE NO. 746 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA AMENDING CHAPTER 14-13, THE CODE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, SAID CHAPTER PROVIDING A SCHEDULE OF OCCUPATIONS AND LICENSE TAXES, SAID AMENDMENT AMENDING THE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS FOR SOLICITORS BY PROVIDING AN EXEMPTION FOR SOLICITORS OPERATING FROM A BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENT PAYING AN OCCUPATIONAL FEE. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That that portion of Chapter 14-13, The Code of the City of Sanford, Florida providing for schedule of occupations and license taxes applicable to solicitors, be and it is hereby amended to read as follows: "247. Solicitors, not otherwise specified, except those operating from a licensed business establishment $ 15. Off' SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27 day of ?ebruary A.D. 1961. CERTIFICATE I, H. N. Tamm, Jr., City Clerk of the City of Sanford, Florida do hereby certify that a true and correct copy of the foregoing Ordinance No. 746 PASSED and ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Sanford, Florida, on the 27th day of February 1961, was POSTED at the front door of the City Hall in the City of Sanford, Florida, on the 28th day of February 1961.
