AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING
WITHIN THE CORPORATE AREA OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, THE AREA DESCRIBED
AS FOLLOWS: BEGINNING AT THE INTERSECTION
OF THE CITY LIMITS LINE AND THE WEST RIGHT
OF WAY LINE OF WOODLAND DRIVE NORTH OF
ONORA ROAD; THENCE WEST ALONG 314 E CITY
LIMITS FOR A DISTANCE OF 537.8 FEET; THENCE
NORTH A DISTANCE OF 405 FEET; THENCE EAST
A DISTANCE OF 537.8 FEET; THENCE SOUTH
ALONG THE WEST RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF
WOODLAND DRIVE A DISTANCE OF 405 FEET
TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE FOR SAID ANNEXATION AND
FOR THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES FOR CITIZEN-
SHIP IN THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of the
City of Sanford, Florida, one (1) petition containing the names of
three (3) property owners in the area described hereinafter, request-
ing annexation to the corporate area of the City of Sanford, Florida
and requesting to be included therein, and
WHEREAS, said petition was duly certified to the tax
assessor of Seminole County, Florida, pursuant to Chapter 57-1815,
Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957, and the certification of the tax assessor
of Seminole County, Florida as to the sufficiency of such petition pur-
suant to the terms of said Act received, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford,
Florida has deemed it in the best interest of the City to accept said
petition and to annex said area,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF
THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that certain area in Seminole County,
Florida, described as follows, to-wit:
Beginning at the intersection of the city limits line
and the West right of way line of Woodland Drive
North of Onora Road; thence West along the city
limits for a distance of 537.8 feet; thence North a
distance of 405 feet; thence East a distance of 537.8
feet; thence South along the West right of way line of
Woodland Drive a distance of 405 feet to the point of
beginning,
be, and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of the City of
Sanford, Florida pursuant to the terms of Chapter 57-1815, Laws of
Florida, Acts of 1957.
SECTION 2. That upon this Ordinance becoming effective,
the residents and property owners in the above-described annexed area
shall be entitled to all of the rights and privileges and immunities as are
from time to time granted to residents and property owners of the City of
Sanford, Florida, and as are further provided in Chapter 57-1815, Laws
of Florida, Acts of 1957, and shall further be subject to the responsibilities
of residency or ownership as may be from time to time determined by the
governing authority of the City of Sanford, Florida, and the provisions of
said Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon its passage and adoption.

rect copy of the foregoing Ordinance No. 765, PASSED and
ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Sa~ford,
Florida, on the 9th day of October, 1961, was POSTED at
the front door of the City Hall in the City of Sanford,
Florida, on the 10th day of October 1961.
