AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SAN-FORD,
FLORIDA AMENDING CHAPTER 4, SECTION
4-2 THEREOF, AS AMENDED, SAID SECTION
PROVIDING FOR THE HOURS AND DAYS OF
SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, SAID
AMENDMENT ADDING SUBSECTION (d)
THERETO PROVIDING FOR THE SALE OF
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ON JANUARY 1.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 4, Section 4-2 thereof, The
Code of the City of Sanford, Florida 1954, as amended, said
Section providing for the hours and days of sale of alcoholic
beverages, he and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto
Subsection (d) as follows:
"(d) Anything herein to the contrary notwithstanding,
it shall be lawful for alcoholic beverages, in-
cluding wine and beer, to be sold on the 1st day
of January when the same is a Monday, between
the hours of 12:01A. M. and 3:00 A. M."
SECTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this the 18th day of December,
A.D. 1961.
