AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING
WITHIN THE CORPORATE AREA OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, THE AREA DESCRIBED
AS FOLLOWS: LOT A, BLOCK 4; LOTS 8, 9, 10,
li AND 12, BLOCK 4; LOTS 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12,
13, 14, 15, 16, 17 AND 18, BLOCK 6; ALL OF
ROSALIND HEIGHTS, ACCORDING TO PLAT
THEREOF RECORDED IN PLAT BOOK 3, PAGE
47, P '
UBLIC RECORDS OF SEMINOLE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, INCLUDING PARK, AND THAT
SECTION OF ONORA ROAD ADJACENT TO
THE SOUTH BOUNDARY LINE OF LOT A,
BLOCK 4, AND ALL OF THE SOUTH 544.5
FEET OF THE NORTH 577.5 FEET OF THE
WEST 179 FEET OF THE EAST 229 FEET
OF SECTION 12, TOWNSHIP 20 SOUTH,
RANGE 30 EAST.
WHEREAS, there has been filed with the City Clerk of
the City of Sanford, Florida, one (1) petition containing the names
of four (4) property owners in the area described hereinafter, re-
questing annexation to the corporate area of the City of Sanford,
Florida and requesting to be included therein, and
WHEREAS, said petition was duly certified to the tax
assessor of Seminole County, Florida, pursuant to Chapter 57-1815,
Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957, and the certification of the tax asses-
sor of Seminole County, Florida as to the sufficiency of such petition
pursuant to the terms of said Act received, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of San_ford,
Florida has deemed it in the best interest of the City to accept said
petition and to annex said area,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF
THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that certain area in Seminole County,
Florida, described as follows, to-wit:
Lot A~ Block 4; Lots 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12,
Block 4; Lots 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14,
15, 16, 17 and 18, Block 6; al/of Rosalind
Heights, according to plat thereof recorded
in Plat Book 3, page 47, Public Records of
Seminole County, Florida, including park,
and that section of Onora Road adjacent
to the South BOundary line of Lot A, Block
4, and all of the South 544.5 feet of the
North 577.5 feet of the West 179 feet of
the East 229 feet of Section 12, Township
20 South, Range 30 East,
be, and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of the
City of Sanford, Florida pursuant to the terms of Chapter 57-1815,
Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957.
SECTION 2. That upon this Ordinance becoming effective,
the residents and property owners in the aBOve-described annexed
area shall be entitled to al/of the rights and privileges and immunities
as are from time to time granted to residents and property owners of
the City of Sanford, Florida, and as are further provided in Chapter
57~1815, Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957, and shall further be subject
to the responsibilities of residency or ownership as may be from time
to time determined by the governing authority of the City of Sanford,
Florida, and the provisions of said Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida,
Acts of 1957.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.

of the City Hall in the City of Sanford Florida, on the
13th day of February 1962. '
