AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER
771 OF SAID CITY, AS AMENDED, SAID
ORDINANCE BEING A ZONING PLAN WITHIN
THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA, SAID
AMENDMENT TRANSFERRING CERTAIN
TERRITORY iN R~5 (ONE AND TWO FAMILY
DWELLING) DISTRICT, TO R~6 (MULTIPLE
FAMILY DWELLING) DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance Number 771 of the City of
Sanford, Florida, passed and adopted February 26, 1962, as amended,
said ordinance being the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Sanford, regulating and restricting the location and use of buildings,
structures, land and water for trade, industry, residence or other
purposes, be and the same is hereby amended as follows:
The property bounded on the North by Eighth Street,
on the East by Mulberry Avenue, on the South by llth
Street and its extension, and on the West by Cloud Branch,
more particularly described as Lots 1 through 11 inclusive,
Block 10, Tier 20, E. R. Trafford's Map of Sanford,
according to Plat Book 1, pages 56-64, Public Records
of Seminole County, Florida;
That portion of Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9 and 10, Rands Addition
to Sanford, according to Plat Book 1, page 131, Seminole
County Public Records, lying East of Cloud Branch;
And that portion of the following property lying East of
Cloud Branch in Section 26, Township 19 South, Range 30
East, beginning 4, 35 chains East and 6 2/3 chains North
of the Southwest corner of the SE 1/4 of said Section,
run thence East 10 chains, thence North 3 1/3 chains, thence
West 10 chains, thence South 3 1/3 chains to point of beginning,
be, and the same is hereby zoned R-6 (Multiple Family Dwelling) District.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
