AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD~
FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 8, SECTION
8 THEREOF~ (FORMERLY SECTION 9 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 212) CODE OF THE CITY OF
SANFORD, FLORIDA OF 1954, AS AMENDED,
THE SAME PROVIDING FOR POLLING PLACES
IN MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS, SAID AMENDMENT
PROVIDING FOR VOTING AT COUNTY POLLING
PLAC ES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 8, Section 8 thereof, Code of the
City of Sanford, Florida of 1954, as Amended, providing for Polling
Places in municipal elections be and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows:
Sec. 8-8. Polling Places.
All general and special elections in the City
of Sanford shall be held at the precinct polling places
designated by the County of Seminole and the County
Supervisor of Registration as the same are applicable
to residents of the City of Sanford, and such residents
shall vote in municipal elections at the same precinct
polling places as the County has established.
SECTION 2. That ail ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective
immediately.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10t/-t day of September, A.D.
1962.
