AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANFORD,
FLORIDA, ANNEXING TO AND INCLUDING
WITHIN THE CORPORATE AREA OF THE CITY
OF SANFORD, FLORIDA THE AREA DESCRIBED
HEREINAFTER, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
PROVISIONS OF CHAPTER 57-1815, LAWS OF
FLORIDA, ACTS OF 1957.
WHEREAS, there have been filed with the City Clerk of the
City of Sanford, Florida, two (2) petitions containing the names of three
(3) property owners in the area described hereinafter, requesting annexa-
tion to the corporate area of the City of Sanford, Florida and requesting
to be included therein, and
WHEREAS, said petitions were duly certified to the Tax
Assessor of Seminole County, Florida, pursuant to Chapter 57-1815,
Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957, and the certification of the Tax Assessor
of Seminole County, Florida as to the sufficiency of such petitions pur-
suant to the terms of said Act received, and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sanford,
Florida has deemed it in the best interest of the City to accept said
petitions and to annex said area,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF
THE CITY OF SANFORD, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That that certain area in Seminole County,
Florida, described as follows, to-wit:
Lot 27, AMENDED PLAT OF DRUID PARK, according
to p/.at thereof recorded in Pla a, LESS that
Pubhc Records of ~..'-^,_ .~ t Book 7, pages 5 a
S~,.t.u~e uounty, Florid . _ nd 6,
part of said Lot 27 lying South of West Onora Road, as
shown on plat recorded in Plat Book 13, page 36; and
LESS beginning at the intersection of the East line of
said Lot 27 with the northerly right of way line of
West Onora Road as designated in Plat Book 13, page
36 of said Public Records, thence run South 60 degrees
58 minutes West 122.45 feet to the P.C. of a 3 degree
08 minutes curve to the right, then along said curve
277. 55 feet, thence run North 125 feet to the bank of
a canal, thence North 62 degrees 03 minutes 30 seconds
East a distance of 206.95 feet along the bank of said
canal, then run northeasterly along said canal 204.3
feet to the line of said Lot 27, thence South 150 feet
along said East line of Lot 27 to beginning.
ALSO
Lots 21 through 26, inclusive, according to the
Amended Plat of Druid Park, recorded in Plat Book
7, pages 5 and 6, Public Records of Seminole County,
Florida
be, and the same is hereby annexed to and made a part of the City of
Sanford, Florida pursuant to the terms of Chapter 57-1815, Laws of
Florida, Acts of 1957.
SECTION 2. That upon this Ordinance becoming effective,
the residents and property owners in the above-described annexed area
shall be entitled to ~1 of the rights and privileges and immunities as are
from time to time granted to residents and property owners of the City
of Sanford, Florida, and as are further provided in Chapter 57-1815,
Laws of Florida, Acts of 1957, and shall further be subject to the
responsibilities of residence or ownership as may be from time to
time determined by the governing authorityof the City of Sanford,
Florida, and the provisions of said Chapter 57-1815, Laws of Florida,
Acts of 1957.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage and adoption.
